I am Peanut!! A Toy Fox Terrier!!

Hi, and welcome to my blog!  I am Peanut,
and I am a small dog with a BIG personality!  I came to my foster home at a sad time, just when two other dogs in the home made their way to the rainbow bridge, and I came to my foster home at the right time, too, because I bring smiles every day to my foster parents.  I have helped to ease their sorrow.

I may be 12 years old, but I am alert and active, interested in everything that is going on in my foster home.  My foster mom says I "scurry" around the house, and she is right!  I get along fine with the other dogs here, and I like attention from my foster parents too.  I can be a little bit barky and growly at times - like when someone comes to the door - but I don't mean anything by it.  And I get a little bit nervous sometimes, like if something sudden happens.  My foster mom thinks I wasn't treated so well in the past. And she knows what I really want is love and attention.  So she gives me as much as she can.

And what I want more than anything is a forever home where I will get lots of love and understanding (and treats).  And where I will have a soft bed and some grass outside to sniff around in.
Here is an aerial shot of me outside, enjoying the smells and sniffing around.  My foster mom says I look (and sound!) a little bit like a piglet when I am outside, but that is OK!  Pigs are great animals!  And smart too.  I am quite smart myself (how many dogs do you know who can write a blog post?), and I am just an all-around good little dog, in search of a home that is just right for me.

If you think YOU might be the one to give me a home that is just right for me, read about me here first: https://www.blinddogrescue.org/dog/peanut/
and then fill out the application here:

Thanks for stopping by! I will keep posting until I am adopted!
